Horizon Lanka is the first institute of its kind to specialize in English and ICT in a rural environment such as Mahavilachchiya, and today can be proud of possessing 12 years of experience in these fields. The Ministry of Education of Sri Lanka is replicating the Horizon Lanka model islandwide through the “e-Village Replicating Project”, www.evillage.lk. We have invested a significant amount of time and resources in developing skills across the full spectrum of services that international grants and social development require. Our due diligence methodology applies an investment mindset to philanthropic giving.  We assess organizations and their proposed projects against categories critical to success, providing an assessment of potential risks and impact as a result of project funding.  Through our services, our clients have the confidence of knowing exactly how their funds will be put to use, and what difference their giving will make.

Monitoring and Reporting
We research, visit and analyze the effectiveness of projects our clients have funded to report on status and help ensure clients’ philanthropic investments perform as promised. We can provide clients with updates, photos, and case studies, so that they know how their giving is changing lives and impacting communities.

Measurement and Evaluation
We use a Social Return on Investment (SROI) metric that allows our clients to clearly see the social value they are creating through their philanthropic investments, enabling them to make capital allocation decisions accordingly.
